California Privacy Rights

Based on our current understanding of the CCPA, we do not sell your personal information as defined in the CCPA. However we may share personal data with certain third-party partners and providers for purposes of analyzing and optimizing our services and ads. California Shine the Light Law: The California “Shine the Light” law permits users who are California residents to request and obtain from us once a year, free of charge, a list of the third parties to whom we have disclosed their personal information (if any) for their direct marketing purposes in the prior calendar year, as well as the type of personal information disclosed to those parties. Please note that we do not share your personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

Your California Privacy Rights

Below are your rights as a California resident. Please note, these rights are not absolute and do not apply to information exempted under the CCPA. For that reason, there may be cases when we decline your request as permitted by law.

• Right to request disclosure of personal information we have collected about you in the past 12 months
• Right to request deletion of personal information that we have collected from you
• Right to opt-out of sales of your personal information as defined in the CCPA
• Right to exercise the rights described above free from discrimination prohibited by the CCPA

Exercising Your CCPA Rights

To exercise your information, access or deletion rights please submit a request by emailing us at info@getmeez.com or by filling out our California Resident Rights Request Form.

Before processing your request we will need to verify your identity. If you use the Form to submit your request, a verification email will be sent to you. If you reach out to us via email/phone we may require you to log into your meez account, provide government identification, and/or provide additional information as part of the verification process. We will only use personal information provided in the request to verify your identity. You can designate an authorized agent to exercise these rights on your behalf. If you do so, we may request that your authorized agent have written permission from you to make requests on your behalf, and we may also need to verify your authorized agent's identity to protect your personal information. Note that we cannot respond to your request if we cannot verify your identity and/or your authorized agent identity. If we cannot verify your identity and/or your authorized agent identity, we will not fulfill your request.

Will meez ever change this Notice?

We’re constantly evolving our services, so we may need to change this supplemental notice from time to time. If we make any changes, we will revise the "Effective date" date at the top of this page. The above summary of how we collect, use and share Personal Information describes our practices currently and for the 12 months preceding the effective date of this Notice.
